EPIC WILDERNESS ADVENTURE CAMPS

LEARN, EXPLORE & FIND YOUR WILD

We provide exceptional bushcraft camps for schools

We provide day visits, overnight camps and longer stays for school groups aged 7-18.
All of our activities are delivered by experienced, qualified instructors, with a focus on safety and an emphasis on fun. We don’t run bootcamps, instead we want young people to explore, learn and be curious.

  • “A Simply Wonderful Bushcraft Experience!”

“The Great Tew Estate was the venue for our 3 day bushcraft residential camp in May for our Year 6 children. From my first conversation with Rhys, it was clear that he wanted to make it the most fun, learning experience possible for our children and nothing was too much trouble.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Rhys and his team at a private access to the estate before hiking a short way to our camping location. Shelby, Ryan and Nell were our instructors who were brilliant with the children. They got the best out of them as they built camp, played games and made their own dinner over an open fire! We had a few children with specific dietary requests but every last detail was thought about and everyone went to bed happy, with full tummies.

The children loved adding to their skillset with advanced fire lighting, outdoor first aid, cooking with fire, and use of cutting tools. The camp culminated with the option for children to have a wild camp night, sleeping in natural shelters or tarps and hammock!

Thank you so much for helping create so many wonderful memories for our children and sowing the seed for further adventures exploring the outdoors!”

  • The team were outstanding. From their kindness, patience and support with the children to the skills that were taught and encouraged, we couldn’t have been happier with Campfire Wild Adventures. The children loved every second: from team building, lighting campfires and cooking their own evening meal to sleeping in beautiful bell tents and enjoying the adventure of being away from home in the safety of our own school grounds. Children aged from 7 to 13 had a genuine adventure and we are hugely grateful to the whole team. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and staff were full of praise for the whole process. We look forward to our next adventure!

  • "It was lovely working with your team, and you were all very helpful throughout with all our needs, especially since this was a slightly different event than usual with a few hoops to jump through.

You were always quick to respond and kept us updated with where you were at throughout. You were also very flexible and adapted to the way we needed things done which I can't thank you enough for. In fact, this event would not have happened if this was not the case.

A very memorable and enjoyable camp experience for our students!”

  • "For summer 2021 we decided to bring the Campfire to our school as this was a way of giving the children their end of year event without compromising on the safety of all whilst still in the midst of the pandemic. The children have had a real journey through this pandemic and this was a real treat for them all, particularly the children leaving us to go to high school.

We were delighted to have chosen Campfire Wild Adventures to undertake this for us. Pupils in years 5 and 6 from both of our schools, Bildeston & Whatfield Primaries, enjoyed an overnight camp and lots of activities in our school grounds, all provided by the team's expert instructors. They advertise the ‘perfect compromise’ and indeed it was.

They provided super bell tents which we placed on our lovely playing field, along with raised fire pits, which enabled the children to prepare and cook their own supper. The food provided was delicious and they catered for the adults too! Even marshmallow toasting to end the evening around the camp fire!

When the team left, it was as if they had never been on site – spotless!

We will bring the Campfire back to Bildeston!”
